Corporate Identity
Your mission statement, vision statement and value proposition should be a reflection of your corporate identity. You may have them already written down in that business plan gathering dust on the shelf. Revisit them and make sure they still apply to your business. If they are relevant great, if not, rewrite them. Once you can describe who you are, what you do and why you make the world a better place, you can begin to tailor your image in this direction. Often these ideas are contained in defining statements such as an elevator speech, or a tag line. Are you fun and casual, or strictly business? When you consider what image you wish to convey, don't forget to consider what your customers, (your audience) are like. Are they corporate voices, or personal friends, tie-dyed, or business suits? This will make a tremendous difference in whether your message rings true. Don't forget about competition, it needs to be reviewed before a decision
on positioning is made. Never forget to look over your shoulder from time
to time. Competitors can creep up from nowhere on a moments notice. Once
you know who you are and know whom you're talking to you can start writing
your story. The experts at Questus Strategies can help you define yourself, explain yourself and better position you for success.
